Communal Meal

The community dinner is an evening for all Ærø residents, visitors to the island, and other well-wishers.

We sit at long tables and get to know each other. We always start the evening with a welcome beer, courtesy of the brewery. You’re always welcome to contribute with a performance, group singing, etc. Please contact Thyra in advance.

Tonight's dinner is a slow-cooked dish: pork braised in beer with apples and cabbage, served with mashed potatoes.

If you're a vegetarian, we'd be happy to prepare a meat-free version—we just need to know at least one day in advance (call or send an email).

The price is DKK 240 for food, including one beer/water – children up to 12 years old DKK 120.
