Store Rise Beer safari and lunch

To mark Geopark Days, we at Ærø Brewery are organizing a beer safari followed by lunch.

Join us for an outdoor beer tasting, where you can breathe in the fresh country air as you are guided through the village and hear stories from Store Rise's heyday, sampling six different beers from Ærø Brewery along the way.

Store Rise is one of the island's largest villages and has historically been dominated by agriculture, but it has also been home to an inn, several grocery stores, a bakery, and, of course, Rise Brewery, which brewed white beer for the island's workers.

You will experience a tour through the village with fascinating stories about everything that has shaped the town over the last century and which, in one way or another, relates to the brewery past and present.

We finish up at Bryggeriet with lunch consisting of open-faced sandwiches and a cold beer/water from the bar.
